I took the trouble to write a comment about the article by Ambrose Evan-Pritchard, the subject was the Euro and the attempt to foist it upon the British people.

I have, this last week or so, commented on articles by Jannet Daley, along the same lines and you have accepted them, but today, nothing.

Is Kanye West Done With Rap?

With the release of his new auto-tune singing filled album, many rumors have started that Kanye West is done rapping, but are they true? The Observer newspaper quoted Kanye saying "hip-hop is over for me now" after a press conference in New Zealand but Kanye quickly squashed that rumor.

    "What does that mean," Ye' asked. "Hip-hop is over for me? I never said that." Kanye says the paper took him saying he didn't listen to rap at his apartment, out of text. "That quote is like so wrong," West responded. "I never said that. I still listen to hip-hop in my car. I listen to old Wu-Tang or something while I'm designing and stuff like that. I really don't listen to new hip-hop albums that come out like that. I really don't learn the lyrics the way I used to learn the lyrics when I was 18 years old and stuff like that. Even albums like Lil Wayne's album, which I love, I couldn't recite the raps for you. I'm just not in that position. Maybe I'm just busy. It disturbs me that they paraphrase me."

Luda & Soulja Boy Perform At SEC Championship!

Ludacris and Soulja Boy will team up for a free concert put on by AT&T. The free show will follow this weekend's Southeastern Conference (SEC) football championship game in Georgia. "I'm excited to be helping AT&T recognize and celebrate the SEC Championship, which is such a time-honored tradition," Luda says. Soulja Boy also commented saying "I receive an amazing amount of love from the South when it comes to supporting my projects - especially in college football games where I see some of the players and fans doing my dances when they score."

    In related news, Soulja Boy will participate in an upcoming charity event in Atlanta. Soulja Boy will be on hand at the Old National Highway's Wal-Mart on December 19th to help with gifts and sign copies of his new album. The toy run is part of the sixth annual "Toyz N Da Hood" event. "It's all about putting smiles on kids' faces this holiday season," Soulja Boy said in a statement. "I'm happy to do anything I can during these hard economic times to make a kid's holiday season a little brighter."

Hell, I'm pretty sure i can talk my mom into slapping Plaxico just for being a DUMBA$$...  the mayor of NY Michael Bloomberg has come out & stated that the crime Plaxico has committed carries a minimum of 3.5 years in prison.... I'm getting sick & tired of Celebrities being cut some slack for their crimes... I say send Michael Vicks **** to Jail for 25 years & if & only if he behaves, then let him out only to make him work for the next 10 years free of charge at a dog resuce facility... I've heard rumors that Plaxico might not even serve jail time or if he does, it will only be for 6 months... screw that... If i did the exact same thing either of those idiots did, do you think that i would have the same ??? hell no, i would be rotting in jail, just as they should be...

My '1000 Words or Less' class has ended.  Last night was the final night, and we wrapped up with a potluck and reading some past exercises.  (No one touched my corn chips and salsa, not sure why, but now I've got expensive organic chips and salsa sitting in the kitchen.)

One piece I read was an exercise I'd undertaken in writing in 2nd-person POV.  When I dwelled on how it might sound, it seemed obvious to make it into a restaurant review where the narrator guides the reader through the dining experience.  I had a lot of fun with making it an extremely challenging and surreal experience, and my classmates seemed to enjoy it.

My second piece was a challenge.  We designed challenges for each other last week, the entire class collaborating on difficult writing topics for each other.  I knew one woman hated the 'flawed narrator' concept, so I suggested her main character was covering up a significant lie.  Another student liked satire and irony, so he was ordered to produce a non-ironic children's story with Conservative moral overtones.

My challenge wasn't tailor-made for me at all.  It was decreed that I write a 'missed connection' Personals ad written by a man suffering from phantom limb syndrome (but who had all of his limbs), and I could only use two-syllable words and was forbidden from using the letter S.  Yeah, that's difficult, but no part of that is a response to my personal writing style, favored topics, strengths or weaknesses.  I was a little hurt that it was so impersonal, or paranoid that my writing voice is so weak and indefinite that no one could come up with a challenge to meet it.  My wife was indignant on my behalf, calling the exercise "pointless."

Nonetheless, I did write a 374-word Personals ad of duo-syllabic words that never used the letter S.  The solution was to use a narrator for whom English is a second language, and that gave me liberty to play with grammatical structure.  The class seemed very pleased: one writer, whom I admire, did a spit-take on the woman sitting next to him.  I take that as a sign of success.

At the same time, I would have liked someone to key into some signature trait of mine and challenge me pertaining to it.  I think anyone at all could have been given my exercise.

I think the storyline with rey & Knox is a little silly as it just the same as the kane/myestrio someone just trying to be a bully.

Match 1 - CM Punk & Kofi Kingstown vs Cody Rhodes & Manu

i though that this was an ok match was anything special i do like all 4 of the as the will allbe champions in the future

Segment 3 - Orton Rhodes & Manu Backstage

i think that everyone knew that this was going to happen as everyone is talking about it . But I am looking forward to see a faction back in wwe it about god DAMN time

Segment 4 - Kane & Jericho Backstage

Now this segment got me confused cause it was a typical Promo people trying to use Kane to there advantage. but there was one bit that did get me confused and that was kane saying "he likes the people and they love him."  But just a few weeks ago he was saying that he hated the fans. is this what we all been waiting for I wonder.

Match 2 - Jillan vs Melina

well i could really see this match as my eye and ears melted from Jillan singing.

but overall was OK a bit sloppy but the bit I in this match was Melina New Finisher. Which looks like a modified candian destroyer which i thought was pretty good.

But after the match was the best bit of Raw and that was Santino trying to do melina's enterance which i thought was funny as hell. Where is Ron Simmions when you need him.

But at least there was Goldust to comfort Santino. Welcome back Goldust

Segment 5 - JBL & HBK Promo

this was i little bit stupid there is no way that HBK will work with JBL even if shawn was broke. if it does happen well done WWE for surprising us all.

Match 3 - Batista vs Dolph Ziggler

This match was OK as i though that Batista would destroy Ziggler but that wasn't case which surprised me a little bit.

2.5 stars

and please can Ziggler think of something eles to stay cause it begging to die slowly.

And i like the fact that it going to be orton vs Batista at armgeddon i hope that will be a good match.

Match 4 - Finlay vs Morrison (IC tourment)

i thought this watch was a bit boring nothing speical in it. i think that Finlay should of stayed on smackdown as i don't really watch ECW and he hasn't had a major push yet. 

Final Segment - The Slammy's

Well this Promo was a little pointless as they could have posted the canditites for superstar of the year.

And can some please tell me why The Undertaker wasn't added for Superstar of the year Award. And what made it even worse was the fact John Cena was added to it. Well come on he is a Legend after all.

But the advertised for next week Slammy's are pretty good apart from 1 match and i think everyone knows which match that is Cena vs Edge. I telling you now I am not a Cena Hater. I am a Cena fan.

Match 5 - Rey Myestrio vs The Miz

I thought that this match was going to happen. And i though it was good but it was a stipidending if you ask me. and it was Sloppy too.

Final Match - Cena vs Kane

i thought that this match was Good not great but if the match was a bit longer i thought it could have been a great Match. but the only problem i had was kane begging beat so easily I thought kane was a Monster and i think that he shouldn't be beat so easy in my Mind.

2.5 stars

Conclusion - Cena's AMBUSH

I knew this was going to happen as they are going to make Cena look strong which a thought was very badly done and they picked the Wrong superstars as it let them look weak as well. Which was a Rub**** ending in my Mind.

Overall - I Thought was OK it wasn't great but OK a bit predictable if anything looking forward to Next weeks Raw something big usual happens at a 3 Hours and there will be good match on as well coming on WWE.

T.I. Gives Back At Thanksgiving, Raises 100 Grand!

 T.I. gave back to his community this Thanksgiving. TIP and his Grand Hustle crew handed out in Atlanta's biggest Thanksgiving dinner at Turner Field this past Thursday [watch here]. "I just wanted to come and show my support" T.I. said during a speach at the event [watch here].

    T.I. wasn't done there, the Atlanta rapper also raised approximately a $100,000 within two hours at a local radio station the night before his Thanksgiving event. Fellow southern rapper Young Jeezy pitched in by donating $5,000 to the cause. "It's a pleasure for me to help service those who are definitely in need of the service," T.I. said. The event was organized by a group called Hosea Feed The Hungry and Homeless. Ironically, Hosea Thomas was recently convicted of killing T.I.'s assistant and friend Philant Johnson.

Jim Jones Replaces The N-Word With Obama!

Jim Jones is taking a different approach towards the "N-World" than most people. In light of our new president, Jones plans to replace the "N-Word" with "Obama" and the "B-Word" with "Michelle," the new first lady. T.I. Fends Off Beyonce To Land Number 1!

 On Thanksgiving Day, T.I. started his fifth week at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with "Live Your Life" featuring Rihanna. TIP does have competition though as Beyonce is close behind jumping from 28th to 2nd with "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" after selling 204,000 digital downloads. Beyonce also holds the number 3 spot with "If I Were A Boy" while T.I.'s other single, "Whatever You Like," dropped from number 2 to number 4.

    Other notables on this weeks charts include Kanye West and his "Love Lockdown" moving from number 9 to the 6th spot and Ne-Yo's "Miss Independent" moved from 11 to number 9. Akon's "Right Now (Na Na Na)" dropped two spots to land at number 10

Lil Wayne Issues Refunds, Takes 3rd In Digital Sales!

 Lil Wayne will refund ticket buyers for the two concerts he postponed. The refund was reportedly ordered by New York's Attorney General Andrew Cuomo. Weezy's publicist has already stated that the first concert was postponed because the equipment they provided didn't meet standards and the second show he had to put off due to his upcoming 'I Am Music' tour. Either way the Attorney General is pleased saying "Both Blue Cross Arena and Lil' Wayne's promoters are doing the right thing by refunding Rochester-area fans who purchased tickets to a performance that never took place."

In related news, Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter III" was recently announced as the 3rd most downloaded album of 2008. Weey's album was only beat by Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" (which sold over 500,000 copies digitally and 2+ million total) and Jack Johnson's "Sleep Through The Static."

Akon Says T-Pain Is Greatest Hook King Ever!

Akon and T-Pain have joined Nate Dogg as the Hip-Hop hook kings of all time, although Akon doesn't think Nate Dogg compares to T-Pain and himself. "I mean it depends on what you consider to be a hook man," Akon tells XXL. "Nate, I don't think he's any competition to what we're doing right now. The West Coast, which was incredibly hot, there wasn't nobody touching Nate Dogg at that time. I was around at that time. It wasn't no getting through them doors."

    Akon did give Nate Dogg his props saying "Nate had it locked down, but I think as time started changing, I slowly took over because I came with more than just a hook. I came and gave you the song itself. When you came to Akon for a record, you'll get the record, you'll the track, you'll get the song and the concept for it."

    So who's the best of all time? Akon says that belongs to T-Pain. "If I had to give it personally to anybody, I would give it to T-Pain, I always looked at him as someone that can add a lot of color to someone's record. I do it a lot of different ways, but I'm always thinking business when I'm doing it. Pain is doing it for the fun of it. I strategize differently. Soulja Boy Donates Toys for the Holidays!

Soulja Boy has delayed work on his forthcoming album to participate in the 6th annual Toyz N Da Hood charity event, which donates holiday toys throughout Atlanta during the month of December.

 Toyz N Da Hood was founded by Hittmenn DJ president Robert "Kaspa" Smith, and is partnered with the non-profit Kids with Strong Opinions, Inc.

 Together the two organizations reach out to Atlanta-based celebrities and present them with opportunities to give back to their native communities.

 Their past events included participation from Chris Brown, Akon, Young Jeezy, Polow Da Don, Mr. Collipark, and Devyne Stevens.

 As a Hip-Hop superstar that came from very humble beginnings, Soulja Boy jumped at the chance to assist in bringing a joyous holiday season to his young fans.

 "It's all about putting smiles on kids' face this holiday season," Soulja Boy told AllHipHop.com. "I'm happy to do anything I can during these hard economic times to make a kid's holiday season a little brighter. Growing up I didn't have much, so I can relate to these kids and know how important it is to them. To see how excited they get when we donate all these toys is worth anything I can do to make that possible."

 A toy drive will run through December 17 at various Atlanta middle and high schools, where students will compete to collect the most toys for their school.

 The winning school will earn a free concert featuring top Hip-Hop stars from the region.

 Last year, the drive succeeded is disseminating over 20,000 toys. This year's goal is 50,000.

 On December 19, Soulja Boy hosts the centerpiece toy drive event at Atlanta's Walmart, located on 6149 Old National Highway.

 In addition to signing autographs and copies of his latest album isouljaboytellem.com, the collected toys will be donated to underprivileged kids and low-income families.

William Balfour Arrested; To Be Formally Charged in Hudson Family Slayings!

William Balfour, the man at the center of the investigation surrounding the deaths of singer/actress Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother and nephew, has been arrested.

 Balfour, Hudson's estranged brother-in-law, is expected to be formally charged with the slayings after his arrest on Monday (December 1) at Stateville Correctional Center.

 The 27-year-old felon was served with an arrest warrant and released to Chicago police detectives following a stint at the Illinois Department of Corrections for a suspected parole violation, according to Chicago police spokeswoman Monique Bond.

 Balfour's arrest is the latest development following the shooting deaths of Hudson's mother, Darnell Hudson Donerson, brother, Jason Hudson, and nephew Julian King.

 Authorities discovered the bodies of Donerson and Jason Hudson October 24 at the family's home on the South Side of Chicago.

 Balfour, who was apprehended by police the same day, was taken to the Illinois Department of Corrections for the parole violation two days later.

 Julian King's body was found October 27 in a sport utility vehicle located on the city's West Side.

 Balfour, the 7-year-old's stepfather, previously served seven years for a 1999 attempted murder and vehicular hijacking conviction.

 He is the estranged husband of Jennifer Hudson's older sister, Julia Hudson.

 Andy Conklin, a spokesman for the Cook County state attorney's office, noted that Balfour was identified only as a "person of interest" until his arrest on Monday and had not been charged by late Monday afternoon.

 Since being taken in as a potential suspect in the Hudson family murders, Balfour has maintained a tense relationship with authorities as he refused to take a lie detector test and cooperate with detectives assigned to the case.

 Balfour's mother, Michelle Balfour, has stood by her son throughout the investigation while denying that he had anything to do with the deaths.

 During a hearing in November, Balfour's girlfriend told authorities that a gun used in the slayings was "identical" to the gun that was recovered.

 As a result, the Illinois Prisoner Review Board board opted to keep Balfour in custody pending a review board panel hearing
